Mike and Jean exemplify what it means to be a Community Champion, not only by truly living our motto of “Give Where You Live”, but by doing so without asking for anything in return. Thank you for joining us in honoring them for their many years of service to the City of Orange, the greater Orange community and beyond. Visit our Gala Page to view photos from the event!
The Community Foundation of Orange was proud to honor Dr. Michael and Mrs. Jean Abdalla as our 2014 Community Champions. Mike and Jean have given thousands of hours to our local community, working to improve the quality of life for the less fortunate. They have worked tirelessly to help the homeless at Mary’s Kitchen and Skyview Elementary, the hungry through the Orange County Food Bank, and the helpless through St. Joseph’s Hospital, Assistance League of Orange, and Rotary Club of Orange. In addition, their philanthropy has reached globally, having established a medical clinic in El Salvador, providing prosthetic limbs, free of charge to those in need.
